The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Rakuten Kobo Inc., located at 150 John St., 5th Floor, Toronto, Ontario M5V 3E3 (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotion agencies, and their immediate family members or household members, are not eligible to participate.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins on April 18, 10 a.m. EST and ends on April 19, 5 p.m. EST (“Sweepstakes Period”).
4. How to Enter
To enter, during the Sweepstakes Period:
- Scan the QR code at Rakuten Kobo’s BookCon booth to opt-in to SMS and follow the instructions provided.
Limit one (1) entry per person / mobile number during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries generated by script, macro, or automated means are void.

5. Prize
One (1) winner will receive a Kobo Libra Colour, Kobo Stylus 2, Kobo Remote and Kobo Libra Colour Stylus Case with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $369.96 USD.
Prize is non‑transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted, except at Sponsor’s discretion.
6. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or before April 24, 2026 from all eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified via SMS using the contact information provided at entry. If a potential winner does not respond within 7 days, fails to meet eligibility requirements, or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.
8. Taxes
Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt and use.

Once you opt in to receive marketing SMS messages, you may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP. Consent to receive marketing messages is not required to win.
10. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final.
11. Release and Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any liability arising from participation or prize acceptance or use.
12. Governing Law
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles.
